Who displays Google AdWords on their site, anyway?

I took a look at the Top 50 websites here in Norway to see just how many of the top sites are displaying Google AdWords.
Of the Top 50 sites in Norway, none of the top 10 are displaying Google Adwords, not even our local small newspaper sites.
Here is a table of what I found.

So who uses Google? If you really want to get noticed do you need to use Yahoo! or Microsoft instead?
Are any of the MAJOR websites using Google Ads or just the small time blogs and other sites?
Lots of questions... I guess I need to find some answers.
Other interesting facts about Online Advertising:
Google acquired DoubleClick in March 2008.
Yahoo! acquired Overature in July 2003.
